Epo'o Trust
The Creation of Epo’o Trust
The members of Epo’o Forum created Epo’o Trust as the formal legal entity through which Epo’o’s aims and goals will be accomplished. Following exhaustive consultations, a form of words was agreed for the Trust Agreement, Memorandum of Trust and Articles of Trust which comprised the Epo’o Trust Deed.
Following the successful launch of its Trust Deed and signature to it by members, Epo’o formally created its trust status on 1 December 2009.
The Board of Trustees
The board of trustees is currently composed of two, both qualified engineers (Mechanical and Civil arenas). They respectively work in railway infrastructure and gas distribution installation industries.
Epo’o Trust plans to expand its board of Trustees in the near future, in order to ensure representation of other professions among the trusteeship.
The Membership
Including the trustees, there are currently ten members of Epo’o. The membership represents an array of expertise in different fields and industrial backgrounds, including:
The Epo'o Organisation
- Engineers from the oil extraction industry
- Engineers from the railway construction industry
- Engineers from gas distribution/ installation (design and project management).
- A Software Engineer
- A Marketing specialist
- A Medical Doctor
- An Accountant
The membership is made up of nine Zambians and one Zimbabwean. One of the Zambian members recently went to live permanently in Zambia. The rest all live in the UK.
